§ 00 ·· a quiet companion · for the forty weeks
A gentle iOS companion for every week of your pregnancy. Track milestones, share the journey privately with your partner, prepare with care — without the noise.
three days free · sources from WHO · NHS · ACOG · no ads, ever
We built Elara because every pregnancy app we tried wanted to be a feed — a stream of tips, a wall of articles, a buzz of notifications competing for the most fragile attention you'll ever have.
Elara is the opposite. One quiet illustration each week, drawn by hand. Tools that wait politely until you reach for them. A private way to bring your partner along — without sharing your journal, your photos, or your data.
What we believe is simple. The forty weeks ahead deserve a companion that knows when to speak and when to be still.

about the size of a papaya.
Tooth buds wait beneath her gums. Her hands explore the cord. Sleep-and-wake cycles are forming — which is why some of her kicks now arrive in clusters, then a long quiet. Every week of Elara reads like this: drawn from WHO and ACOG guidance, written in plain, gentle prose. No diagnoses. No alarms. Just the wonder of becoming.

When he taps a heart on the baby's drawing, you feel the buzz in real time — wherever you are.

we will tell you
we will not tell you
“ forty weeks is a long time to be told what to feel. we decided to be the app that tells you a little, and listens more. ”
— from the manifesto
You can browse weekly stories, the kick counter, and the contraction timer free. Premium unlocks the journal, partner mode, belly photo timeline, full milestone history, and the memory-book PDF export. A three-day trial is included.
Almost everything (journal, photos, health logs, kick history) stays on your device. The only thing we publish — and only if you invite a partner — is a minimal snapshot (name, due date, current week) into a private Firestore document your partner can read. No journal entries, no photos, no health data ever leave your phone for partner mode.
iOS-only for v1. Android is on the roadmap once the iOS experience is fully polished.
We are so sorry. In the app you can switch to a grief-aware mode that quietly hides kick counts, contraction timers, and milestone reminders, and surfaces resources from compassionate, vetted sources instead. You stay in control.
Not unless you choose to share. There is no clinician portal, no patient record. The journal export (PDF) can be handed to your doctor if you want.
Yes — every reminder is opt-in and granular. You can have only the partner reactions on, or only the weekly story, or nothing.
Flo is a cycle-first app with pregnancy as an add-on. Pregnancy+ runs ads and sponsored content. We do neither. Elara is one focused premium app for pregnancy alone — no community feed, no ads, no upsells inside the experience.
Yes. Everything works locally. iCloud just backs up your journal and photos the way iOS already backs up your other apps.
